Helbling & Associates Website and Brand Messaging

The Challenge

Helbling & Associates, Inc. didn’t just need a new website when they reached out for help re-envisioning their brand – they also needed an entirely new messaging strategy. Their specialty in executive search services targeted three main markets, Facilities Management, Architecture, and Real Estate Development, and part of our task was to create an easy identification system so that these markets were front and center on the website.

The Strategy


For Helbling’s new site design, we created a photographic montage style. We improved the content hierarchy and simplified design elements to make the overall brand story more immediate and showcase their new headlines. We also established a secondary color palette system and custom icons to differentiate among their three main markets. These are used throughout the site, such as on the Case Studies page, so that audiences can easily see and learn more about their specific market.


Our team worked on message mapping that developed a new voice and tone. The new messaging was focused on the fact that you need real people to help fill real needs, and that Helbling can find the unique talent you are specifically looking for, sometimes in places you may not expect. All of the website’s design elements were based on this new messaging platform that implemented a consistent brand voice across their redesigned website. It also served to improve SEO and clarify their overall company story.
