Northwest Brand Campaign

The Challenge

Northwest Bank is all about helping people by connecting them to the right products and services to reach their goals. They’ve never strayed from their core philosophy of being a customer-focused company. As Northwest Bank was evolving from a neighborhood savings and loan into a full-service financial institution, they were also launching a new brand to their employees and customers. So, they asked us to develop a Brand Launch Campaign.

The Strategy

Brochure

We wanted to keep the customer-centric values alive in their new brochure that speaks to both their successful past and their exciting future. Using their brand colors and images that evoke friendliness and connection, we were able to help them continue moving their brand into the future without losing their identity.


Videos

We created a Campaign Theme, “We are Northwest,” as a common thread throughout various communications tactics, including six videos that highlighted customers who experienced success as a result of their partnership with Northwest. Northwest provided access to featured customers, branch locations and their teams.


Intranet Website

The intranet microsite helped Northwest launch their new branding to their internal team. It is the hub for branding updates, news and information – all in one easily accessible place. Having created their brand book, we were able to develop this site with the messaging and design that reflected the new brand.


Business 360 Logo

Northwest Bank was looking to brand their business banking services, so we designed the Northwest 360 logo. We were able to use our in-depth knowledge to create a recognizable logo using the secondary colors of the brand color palette to represent their suite of products.


Ads

We created a series of print ads to help expand Northwest’s business and their profile in the western New York region. At a time when a lot of banks were pushing their digital footprint and online banking services, they wanted to differentiate themselves by instead speaking about their people, and how their people were such a large part of their brand. For Northwest, it’s the personal touch that matters.
