So as summer cools down into fall, our team thought it would be a creative experiment to take our favorite summer memories and transform them into Summer Color Palettes. What we got was a colorful array of personalities, hobbies and activities that gave us new color ideas to try and a glimpse into each other’s lives outside of work.

These are the vivid colors of summer. Full of action and adventure, these colors highlight our trips to softball fields, rivers and streams, and backyard gardens.
I call my palette Reading on a Starry Night, because my favorite summer memories are all wrapped up in books. I love the warmth of a summer’s night giving me extra reading time outdoors, and the curiosity of my cat poking his nose into the pages. I will stargaze in between chapters, finding the stories and myths in the sky.
This summer I renovated my home office. I wanted to create an atmosphere of light and calm. After whitening the walls, I added my favorite color combination of blue and yellow. This has become one of my favorite getaway rooms to read, journal, and exercise.
My summer is all about soaking up as much time outdoors as possible. Relaxing on my patio enjoying some wine and pesto pasta and hiking/running/biking in the woods or on the trail.
My color palette is all about relaxing outdoors at home and reflects signature pieces of my yard. From the porch with its beach lounger and welcome sign, to the lush garden full of greenery and flowers – sunflowers being the hillside show stoppers.
My summer color palette is about some of my favorite things: jazz, live music, and the beach. Walking across the warm sand to listen to world-class live music with the beach and ocean nearby is a best-loved summer activity.
